Discover our range of replacement filters for your Holtop ventilation unit, all made in the EU! Our selection includes high-performance G3 (ISO Coarse 50%) filters sets, designed to protect your system and improve indoor air quality. All our options are quality-tested and fully compatible with Holtop MVHR units.

Model compatibility

This category includes filter sets compatible with all major Holtop MVHR ventilation units, including:

  • Eco-Smart series
  • XHBQ series

To ensure the right fit, it’s important to know the exact model of your ventilation unit, as different models require different filters. You’ll find helpful tips on identifying your device in the FAQ section.

Filter types and what they protect against

Our replacement filter sets for Holtop units are designed to ensure optimal air quality and system performance through dual G3 filtration:

  • G3 filters (ISO Coarse 50%) on the extract and supply side:  ideal for capturing larger particles like household dust, textile lint, animal hair, large pollen grains and similar debris.

Usage and maintenance

To keep your MVHR system running efficiently and your indoor air clean, we recommend replacing the filters every 3–6 months. However, this depends on your environment, if you have pets, or nearby construction.

To make the process easy, we provide step-by-step replacement instructions for each filter model. You can find them under the “How to change” tab on every product page.

Manufacturing quality you can trust

Our carefully developed house brand filters are made in the European Union by certified manufacturers. They are produced with high-quality materials, under strict ISO 16890 standards to ensure high filtration performance and reliability.

Can I upgrade a Holtop-built unit to a higher-grade F9 or HEPA filter for stronger allergen protection?

Plus icon Close icon

Many Holtop-built housings can accept a denser F9 or HEPA-class filter on the supply side in place of the standard F7, capturing finer allergen particles. Because denser media increases resistance to airflow, it's worth checking your unit's fan capacity or maintenance manual before upgrading, particularly on smaller residential models.

If my unit is a private-label brand built on a Holtop core, will using Holtop-spec filters affect my warranty?

Plus icon Close icon

No — using a correctly sized filter matching your unit's Holtop-spec filtration class doesn't affect the warranty on the heat exchanger core or fan assembly, since those warranties cover manufacturing defects rather than which filter brand you use. The requirement is almost always about correct sizing and filter class, not the label on the box.

How do I measure my filter if the exact Holtop model isn’t listed?

Plus icon Close icon

Remove the filter and measure three dimensions in millimetres:

  • Length
  • Width
  • Depth

Holtop's filter housings are produced in a relatively standardised set of sizes across their unit range, so an exact size match will almost always identify the correct replacement even without the specific model name.

What filter class is standard for Holtop-built units?

Plus icon Close icon

Holtop units typically ship with a G4 or M5 coarse filter and an F7-class fine filter, following the same ISO 16890 conventions used across the European MVHR market. Original and compatible house brand options are available at the same filtration grade.

I can’t find “Holtop” printed on my unit — why?

Plus icon Close icon

Holtop is one of the largest OEM manufacturers of heat recovery cores and units globally, and its components are used inside many private-label and regional MVHR brands sold under different names. If your unit's core or fan assembly carries a Holtop part number even though the outer casing shows another brand, our Holtop filter listings will likely be the correct match.
