What the filter set protects against
The filters are listed in extract → supply order. M5 and F7 are classes under the former EN 779 standard:
- M5 extract filter: captures dust, pollen and larger airborne particles in extracted indoor air, helping protect the ventilation unit and heat exchanger.
- F7 supply filter: reduces pollen, mould spores and finer airborne particulate pollution in incoming outdoor air, helping improve indoor air quality.
Use and maintenance
Inspect the filters regularly and replace them approximately every 3–6 months, or sooner when dirty, clogged or indicated by the unit's filter alarm. Replacement frequency depends on air pollution, indoor dust and operating conditions. Disconnect the unit from power before maintenance and follow its instructions. Install each class in the correct air path and observe the airflow markings. These filters are not designed for washing.
Manufacturing quality
Our house-brand filters are manufactured by AORA, a reputable and well-known filter manufacturer. Both filters use Minipleat technology and cardboard frames. Closely spaced, stabilised pleats provide a large filtration surface in a compact filter. The set is supplied through Baltic filter and made in the EU to the specified dimensions. This is a compatible house-brand replacement set.
Original product code
The original specification is an M5 extract filter and an F7 supply filter, both 692x520x46 mm, identified as MPL filters in SALDA's RIS 1900–2200 VE/VW EKO 3.0 technical documentation. No exact original SALDA ordering part numbers have yet been verified; OEM codes remain pending.
AORA MPN for this replacement set: AORS0000175. This is the house-brand set's own identifier, not an original SALDA part number.
